Obituary of Jerry A Kroll

Jerry A. Kroll, 65, of Mundelein, formerly of Libertyville, passed away December 31, 2015 at Advocate Condell Medical Center. Jerry was born in Libertyville, graduated Libertyville High School and received his BA and MA in Engineering from Illinois State. He had retired from the College of Lake County where he taught from 1974-2002. He was a charter member of the Independent Consultants Assn and a member of the American Welding Society. He was a lifelong member of the 1st Presbyterian Church, Libertyville. Jerry was an avid Chicago Bears fan, and enjoyed fishing, sailing, cooking, running and antique auto refurbishing. He is survived by his 30 year life companion Judy Snyders (nee Meyer); his sister Joan (Jim) Dunn; his brother Jim (Porta Westerfield) Kroll; his grandchildren Jennifer, Katie and Kelly Roth; and numerous nieces and nephews. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents Albert and Lila Kroll. Funeral Services will by 6:30 pm Monday January 4th at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Place, (Rt 176, 1 Block East of Milwaukee Ave) Libertyville where Jerry’s family will receive friends from 4:30 – 6:30 pm.
