Rosemarie was one of my dearest friends ever since we met through Lake County Right to Life back in early 1980. At that time, I lived in Antioch with my teenaged son, Andy. She and Bob were both so kind and loving to me and my family. 23 years ago, Rosemarie called me on New Years Day and said, “Do you need a car?” Because it was January 1st, the Feast of Mary, Mother of God and my own mother’s birthday, I just knew it was from Our Blessed Mother and my mother, Margaret. So the first thing I said in my excitement was “what color is it? I just knew it would be blue for Our Lady. And, yes, I did need a car. We laughed many times over the years at my response but Rosemarie understood. It is a 1989 Plymouth Reliant and belonged to Margaret Spaulding, Bob’s cousin. Although it was ten years old when I received it, it only had 22,333 miles on it as Margaret truly was the lady who drove it to Church on Sunday and maybe to the grocery store. She bought it new in 1989 when she was 85 years old. For me, it was a new car directly from Heaven. I’m still driving it and it is now officially an antique with antique license plate. A few years ago, when Rosemarie realized I was still driving the car, she became teary eyed. I could tell you many stories of Rosemarie and Bob’s kindness to me and they will always be in my heart. Two of the kindest, most humble people I have been privileged to call my friends. God bless you dear Rosemarie and Bob. Rest in the Peace of Jesus. I love you, in His Love and Service for Life, Pat

Momma Simon was so good to us whenever we saw her. She would welcome us with wide open arms and a long, warm embrace. She made us feel like family. When our son was struggling, she right away had a Mass offered especially for him. That was one of the most powerful, loving actions anyone has ever done for one of my children. Momma Simon was a woman of God. I pray she is enjoying visiting with Him right now. She brought a little Heaven on Earth for me. I thank God He let us know Momma Simon down here and pray we have even more joy with her and Him again,forever!

We loved (Aunt) Rosemarie soooooo MUCH!!! It was ALWAYS AWESOME to see her whenever we did!!! As well, we have MANY MANY GREAT MEMORIES of being at the Simon house in Libertyville for many holidays and special celebrations!!!! We ALWAYS had such GREAT times at the Simon house!!! A lot of the reasons for this is THANKS to (Aunt) Rosemarie’s BEAUTIFUL hospitality, cozy home, cheerful personality, welcoming spirit, great smiles & delicious food & meals......!!!!!! We know she is PERFECTLY HAPPY & at PEACE now in Heaven!!!! I used to go to school with Rita at St. Emily's. we would go to her house after school and play with the rabbit. I remember Rita's mom being lunchroom monitor when we were in second grade. I think that Rita and I were in brownies together and her mom was involved with that. My dad was Frank Auer and he was the janitor at St. Emily's. we would follow him around after school and watch him lock up the gates. I think that Peter was just born around than. they moved away as her dad got a transfered. I remember Mrs. Simon being thin and Strick. Rita and I use to love Doritos and fruit roll ups. they lived on straiten lane. She was a very nice person. My dad passed in 2014 and My mother is still alive at 93 and living in the same house, I live with her.

Rosemarie Simon was like a mother to me. She truly brought joy with her everywhere she went. I am deeply going to miss her loving presence, especially the talks we shared so often. I am extremely grateful for the added time Our Blessed Lord allowed us to have with her, these last few months...
RM (which was what I called her); she was the absolute epitome of charm and class. Rosemarie had this certain suaveness about her, that I haven't ever seen in an 80+ year old person before...Truly amazing to be around!!!
Thank you for always having my back and sticking up for me RM....As well as, thank you for all you have done for us at WSFI. Also, and above all, thank you, for all of the babies that got a chance at life; who are now grown ups, because of your love and devotion!!!
I am quite certain you are resting well now in the arms of Jesus and Mary!!!
I love you and will forever miss you RM,
