We grew up a few houses apart. Dan was the second person I knew in my life that wasn't my family. We waited for the school bus on Lawrence Ln and Gregory Dr in every kind of weather and rode the bus with our sisters and brothers. We shared many things and experiences growing up in Timber Trails. Running bases, hockey at the Meyers house ice rink in the backyard, the Tree forts, Shultz's field,....so many things!! Saturday mornings driving golf balls off the roof while the Parents were out, lol. We were always trouble but we were just kids growing up having fun, even in high school when we sat on the T.T. Brick entrances munching Doritos. Dan was always a good soul, life of the party and always ready to help out where he could when you needed a hand. One night coming home late in his Jeep CJ, a drunk driver hit us head on and flipped Dans jeep and I fell out while it was upside down. Dan was calling for me to see if I was okay immediately. Our lives went in different directions and re-connected many times. I am very sorry my friend, you have left us too soon. Godspeed, rest in peace Dan. Fond memories forever.
