Oh Denise, I have so many warm memories of growing up with you... It was certainly hard leaving good friends and moving to a new school senior year. However, you handled the change with love and grace, made room in your heart for new friends, and inspired the best in each of us. We were uncommonly blessed when you came into our lives. In countless after school snack and chatter sessions, teenage rides in my mom's car, Great America, wine tasting in Sonoma, and a lifetime of weddings and parties, birthdays and babies, careers and retirements - whether we shared laughter or tears, joys or frustrations, any times spent with you were the best of times. I can still hear your voice and laughter over our antics. As only the best of friends can, you affirmed our individual humanity with love, kindness, and acceptance. With characteristic bravery and grace, you've left us much too early. I will remember you always, miss you dearly, and hold you in my heart forever, dearest friend ♥️ Love, ~Gibby
