I was first introduced to Pat by my husband. We discovered we were from the same hometown, Fairmont, West Virginia. I enjoyed hearing stories about Pat growing up and the people he knew. Even though I have only known Pat for a short time I have a lifetime of memories. Pat was one of the kindest individuals I have ever known. He was fun, loving, and always up for an adventure. hi on the hill of the Sporting club says one of the most beautiful homes I have ever seen. Almost Heaven truly describes it. This house that Pat and Denise built was one of Pats pride and joy. Pats gentleness, humility, and his love for life will remain in my heart always. It comforts me greatly to know that when Jesus comes, I will see Pat again. for now, life goes on without Pat, but the world just won’t be the same.

I have only known Pat and Denise for a couple of years. We met at happy hour at the Sporting Club. We shared a bottle of wine and became fast friends. I was so fascinated by his brilliant mind and big heart. He treated me as though he had been friends for years. We spent a good bit of time together, but had plans for so many more good times tragically that was cut short. I will miss Pat a lot and especially miss the time we could’ve spent in the future. Thank God we know we will be together again in gods eternal kingdom.

What I appreciated most about Pat was that he was so welcoming and gracious, Pat always included my sisters and our families as if they were his and Denise extended family. He will be missed.

Pat was my dad, he was my stepdad, but he was my dad. He was the noblest people that I’ve ever met and I loved him dearly.
He loved my mom very much.
He was tough, smart but kind and I never learned as much as I could from him.
I can’t believe this is happening, life is too short. Thank you for all the support and love.

I had the honor to be Pat’s friend after he “adopted” me on the golf course where we became a formidable team. Patrick was a strong, honest, competent, confident, perceptive, exceptional gentleman, and leader of men that will be sorely missed.

I had the great privilege to get to know Pat during some 20 years. He was the owner of Interspiro and my boss. His leadership was professional, long term and persistent. What also impressed me was that he brought so much passion and emotions into business. He also saw, acknowledged and cared truly about his fellow human beings and their lives. When I was sick, Pat did something extraordinary that me and my family will never ever forget, which showed what a fine man he was. I miss you Pat.

I meet Pat the first time in 2005 and I directly got a nice feeling. Later he become my boss ,always trusting in me and in difficult times always supporting and solution oriented.
He was caring a lot about the staff and people in general. I was inspired by his stories often with a lesson to learn. He was my boss and friend.
I miss him a lot.

Sometimes we humans connect almost instantly on things that we put value on. I guess when you make those connections, you forge a friendship. Pat was a storyteller and how I love a good story. I loved listening to his stories. Pat had a quiet yet strong way that was an instant reminder of my father and oh how I loved that. His cigar was like my dad’s pipe and though I despise smoking, I love the smell of a cigar and cherry blend pipe tobacco. I loved talking to Pat as the smell of that cigar drifted past. Pat was a thinker and inventor. I would rather make something out of parts laying around than have something new. I loved his ingenuity. I witnessed his grace and forgiveness in a situation in which most would have never considered it. It reminded me of my heavenly father, and I loved that. My favorite story Pat told me was he and his father working multiple jobs putting his sister through college. His value of family and sacrifice inspired me, and I loved that. His laughter… I spent hours talking and laughing with Pat and Denise. It was medicine for my soul. I loved every second. Pat sat me down one day and looked me in the eye and said, we are no longer professional acquaintances, but we are friends. I love and cherish that memory. Pat was my pier, my father figure, my role model, and my friend
