William F. Zastrow, WWII Army Veteran, 87, a 30 year resident of Vernon Hills passed away October 14 at Advocate Condell Medical Center. Mr. Zastrow had retired as plant manager for Underwriters Laboratory following 45 years of service. Following retirement, he and his wife, Lucille, of 61 years of marriage enjoyed their freedom of travel.
He is survived by his beloved wife Lucille, his loving son Kenneth (Linda) and his cherished grandson Scott.
Private funeral services were from McMurrough Funeral Chapel, Libertyville. Interment with full Military honors will be held at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, Illinois. If desired, memorial donations made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 1893, Memphis, TN 38101 would be greatly appreciated. Funeral information (847) 362-2626.
