Dear Nancy,
I have just learned of Jim's death, and I am so sorry. I feel badly that I have not kept in touch with him recently.. He was truly my mentor. I was just talking about him recently and told people that he was the best "boss" I ever had. He always treated my ideas with respect. I learned from him constantly, and the President's Medal I received from him is my greatest honor. He encouraged my growth as a professional and nominated me for the position I retired from after 13 years. I have thought of him often throughout my career, as he has truly been a guiding light. My prayers are with you and your family.
