Obituary of Marisa J. Arteaga

Marisa Arteaga, 42, of Chicago, formerly of Mundelein, passed away on February 12, 2024. Born and raised in Mundelein, Marisa graduated from Mundelein High School and pursued her passion for art at Columbia College in Chicago, specializing in Makeup Artistry. Marisa had a great sense of humor and was known for her playful pranks, always bringing laughter to those around her. Her creative mind extended to her keen eye for fashion. She also had a deep love for animals, especially her cats, whom she cherished.  Marisa had a huge heart and touched the lives of many with her kindness and creativity. She will be deeply missed.

Marisa is survived by her loving parents, Abelino and Martha; her cherished sisters Lorena, Myra, and Carol; and her dearest grandmother, Trinidad Reyes.

Visitation for Marisa will be on Sunday Feb. 25th from 4:00 – 8:00 PM with a Catholic service at 7:30 PM at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Pl, Libertyville.
