Obituary of Katherine Adams
Katherine Adams, 84, of Huntley, Illinois formerly of Libertyville, Illinois passed away peacefully March 25, 2024 in Plano. Texas. She was born May 15, 1939 in Waukegan, Illinois.
Katherine worked for Carson Pirie Scott for 15 years before retiring.
Katherine loved spending time with her grandchildren, she also loved to garden, travel, cook and try different restaurants. Her favorite music artists were Willie Nelson, Elvis Presley, and Bobby Vinton.
Katherine is survived by her two daughters Keeley Sowatsky (Dave), Nicole Swafford (Craig); her sister Joan Sokal (the late Tom); 4 grandchildren, nieces and nephews and 3 grand nieces and nephews.
Katherine was preceded in death by her husband John Adams; her parents John and Mary Leskovec; her brother John Leskovec and brother-in-law Tom Sokal.
Visitation for Katherine will be held on Monday April 8th from 12:00 noon until 1:00 PM at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Pl, Libertyville where there will be a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Interment to follow at Ascension Catholic Cemetery, Libertyville. In lieu of flowers, memorials made to American Heart Association at www.heart.org
