Obituary of Dolly Wolwark
Dolores "Dolly" Wolwark, 95, of Muskego, WI, formerly of Libertyville, peacefully passed away on April 4, 2024. Dolly was born in Chicago and graduated from Tuley High School. She met the love of her life, George, at a picnic shortly after high school. They married in 1947 and started a family soon after. Dolly embraced her role as a housewife with boundless enthusiasm, cherishing every moment. She delighted in cooking gourmet meals for her family, tending to her beautiful garden, and indulging in sewing, knitting, and crocheting. Dolly's passion for travel took her and George across the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Europe, creating cherished memories along the way.
A devoted woman of faith, Dolly was a former parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Her most treasured moments were spent with her grandchildren on overnight trips. Dolly was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew her.
Dolly is survived by her loving children Susan Ward (Ed Bartt), Gail Wolwark (Ed Weintraub) and George Jr. Wolwark (Paula); her cherished grandchildren Elizabeth Futrell (Rich), Rebecca Martini (Jeff), Rachel Barlow (Mico), Deborah Ward (Dave Para), Meghan Bongartz (Simon Meistininkas), Jesse Bongartz (Megan), and Caitlin Bongartz; her dearest great-grandchildren Lily, Juliette, Ziggy, Jacob, Carmen, Saoirse, Georgette and Genevieve; her dear friend Melvin, her sister Wanda Cunningham; her nephews Edward, Jeffrey and Gregory Wolwark.
Dolly is preceded in death by her dearest husband George Sr. and her parents Walter and Genevieve Bielawski.
Visitation for Dolly will be on Wednesday April 10th from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Pl, Libertyville where there will be a funeral service at 11:00 AM.
