Obituary of Jane S. Duffy
Jane S. Duffy, 76, longtime resident of Libertyville, passed away peacefully at her home on August 21, 2024. Born in Green Bay, WI, Jane was a proud and devoted Packers fan throughout her life. She dedicated over three decades to educating young minds, spending much of her career teaching Math at the School of St. Mary in Lake Forest. Jane had a love for reading and enjoyed the simple pleasure of sitting on her front porch, engaging in heartfelt conversations with her family, friends and neighbors. Nothing brought her more happiness than doting on her grandchildren, whom she adored. Jane will be fondly remembered for her vibrant sense of humor, infectious laugh, and the warmth she brought to those around her. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Jane is survived by her loving children Jack Duffy and Meghan (Ben) Laube; her cherished grandchildren Noble Duffy and Kay & Ella Laube; her dearest brothers Tom Stephenson and Remy (Mary) Stephenson.
