Helen Hanna, 91, of Grayslake formerly of Des Plaines, passed away Dec. 19, 2013 in Libertyville. She was the devoted wife of the late Charles; the loving mother of Charles F. (Catherine) Hanna and the late Thomas; the proud grandmother of Anne, Andrew, Nicolas and Julia Hanna; and the dearest sister of Josephine Doane. Helen was the seventh of eight children.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30 am Friday Dec. 27 from McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Place, Libertyville (rt. 176, 1 blk East of Milwaukee Ave.) to Saint Joseph Catholic Church, 121 East Maple Ave., Libertyville for Mass at 10 am. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, River Grove, IL. Visitation Thursday Dec. 26 from 4-8 pm at the funeral chapel. If desired, memorial donations made to either Catholic Charities of Lake County or the Chicago Botanical Gardens would be greatly appreciated.
