Marvin A. Stahl LIBERTYVILLE - Marvin A. Stahl, 89, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2014. Born in 1924, on a farm in Prairie View, IL, Marvin was a lifelong resident of Lake County. After farming, Marvin worked for 35 years for International Harvester as a farm implement mechanic and then he continued working as a mechanic until his 78th birthday. He is survived by his nephews, Lawrence (Catherine) and Irving (Arlene), his niece, Ann (Tom), and many great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Irving and Willard, and his sister, Loretta. Visitation will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday, March 31, at St. Joseph Church, 121 E. Maple Ave., Libertyville, with a funeral Mass to follow at 10 a.m. Interment will be private at St. Mary Cemetery, Buffalo Grove. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Catholic Charities in his honor. Funeral arrangements have been made through McMurrough Funeral Chapel, Ltd., Park Place at Park Ave., Libertyville.
