Porth, Constance Cameron age 69. Born Sept. 23, 1944, Chicago, IL, passed away April 10, 2014. Connie graduated from Libertyville High School in 1962 and Spring Hill College in 1966. After a successful career in advertising at J. Walter Thompson and Needham, Harper & Steers, Connie edited The Libertyville Saddle Shop Sentinel, an equine newspaper which won awards for excellence under her leadership. She and her husband Alan spent many happy years at The Little Red Farm, St. Mary's Road, Libertyville, before her failing health caused her to move from this local landmark (home of one of the oldest barns in Lake County). Preceded in death by husband Alan Porth, parents James and Dorothy Shea Cameron. Survived by sisters Julia, Libby, Lorrie, and Peggy; brothers Jaimie and Chris; step-daughter Sarah Porth Johnson and her husband Kirk Johnson and their son Aiden; numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Illinois Hooved Animal Humane Society 10804 McConnell Road, Woodstock, IL 60098 (www.hahs.org) Funeral services being held privately.
