Obituary of Lester Fitzpatrick

Lester B Fitzpatrick, of Libertyville, passed away May 31, 2014 at Advocate Condell Medical Center, Libertyville. He had served as a Medical Technician in the US Army during WWII. Les was a member of St. Joseph Parish, Libertyville and had retired as a Real Estate Broker, GRI.
He is survived by his loving children, Teresa Burg, Susan Jakaitis, Michael (Oralia), Mary Rita (Terrence Walsh) Fitzpatrick Walsh, Lisa Fitzpatrick, Patricia (George) Planic, Lester (Karen), Christina (the late Timothy) Lambert and Dawn (Ange) Wright. He was the proud grandfather of Jennifer, Justin, Joy, Kathryn, Ryan, Shawn, Celine, Elizabeth, Kimberly, Rebecca, Anne, Kevin, Danielle, Christopher, Connor and Meghan; the beloved great-grandfather of Marissa, Mia, Emma and Dylan.
Les was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Elizabeth "Betty" (nee Wetzel).
Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am Tuesday, June 3, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 121 E Maple Ave, Libertyville. Interment Ascension Cemetery.
Visitation Monday from 4-8 pm at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Place (Route 176, one block East of Milwaukee Ave), Libertyville.
