Robert P. Hanrahan, 81, of Morton Grove/ Palos Heights passed away Oct. 21, 2014. Graduate of the University of Notre Dame class of ‘55, member of the Notre Dame Hall of Fame and the Monogram Club. Beloved husband of Clementine (nee Spero) of 13 years and the late Theresa (nee Ieraci); cherished father of Robert (Kathy), Michael (Doris), Joseph (Shawn), Catherine (John) Brennan, Patricia (Jerome) Zwierzycki and Margaret (Gerald) Porter-Rizzo; dearest step-father of Debora (Robert) Newman, Linda (Tim) Yonke, Marie (Steve) Ruzika, Deanne (Drummond) Bailey and Jeanne (Pat) Schav; proud grandfather of Michael, Christina, Nikolaus, Robert, Christopher, Meghan, John, Molly, Kelly, Brian, Sean, Kaitlyn, Joseph, Maeve, Colon, William, Robert, Thomas, Billy, Timothy, Patrick, Joseph, Theresa, Anna, Matthew and Jake; dearest step-grandfather of 16; dear great-grandfather of James, Madison, Elza, Madelyn, Olivia, Liam and Ava; and dear step-great grandfather of 4; fond brother of Maureen Wehrle, Margaret Alice Murphy and Phyllis Keefe. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 am Monday Oct 27 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 1775 Grove St, Glenview, IL. Interment Tuesday in South Bend, IN. Visitation Sunday Oct. 26 from 3-8 pm at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Pl, Libertyville (Rt 176, 1 Blk East of Milwaukee Ave) and Monday from 9:15 am until the time of Mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Help.
