Louis R. Bruno, 90, formerly of Waukegan, WW II Navy veteran died November 24, 2012. He was born July 26, 1922 in Chicago, and had been a 30 year resident of Waukegan and a 20 year resident of Gurnee. Louis is survived by his loving children John (Barbara) Ferrante, Frank (Carissa) Bruno, Carol (William) Keating, Louis Bruno Jr. and Annette O'Connell, he was the proud grandfather of 14 and great-grandfather of 9, the dear brother of Frank (Virginia) Bruno and Nicolas (The Late Pauline) Bruno. Louis was preceded in death by his beloved wife Louise of 64 years of marriage. Funeral services will be 9:30AM Wednesday November 28 from McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Place, Libertyville to St. Joseph Church for Mass at 10:00 AM. Entombment Ascension Mausoleum, Libertyville. Visitation Tuesday from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at McMurrough Funeral Chapel. If desired, memorial donations made to the American Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated.
