Obituary of William Thomas

William (Bill) M. Thomas of Gurnee passed away on November 25th, 2012. He was 64 years old and was taken quickly from us by an aggressive cancer. Bill is preceded in death by his father William J. Thomas and stepfather Jack Keyes. Surviving him are his mother Margaret Keyes, brother Timothy and two children Brian and Megan. He spent his life working hard and having loving family and friends. Bill enjoyed relaxing on the weekends, watching football and other sporting events. During the week, he was a dedicated accountant, and he will be truly missed by everyone he worked with. Bill spent his last weeks with his two children and many loved ones, making jokes along the way. He is loved and will be missed. Funeral services will be 9:30AM Friday November 30 from McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Place, Libertyville to St. Joseph Church, 121 East Maple Ave, Libertyville for Mass at 10:00 AM. Entombment Ascension Mausoleum, Libertyville. Visitation Thursday from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at McMurrough Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations made in the form of Mass Cards to the Divine Word Missionaries would be greatly appreciated.
