Obituary of Grover Kennedy

Grover Kennedy, 74, passed away Feb. 8, 2017, at Lake Forest Hospital. Mr. Kennedy grew up in Madison, WI, where he then graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Following graduation, he began his career in insurance and consulting. Grover was a devoted Badger fan of all sports. He is survived by his loving daughter, Jessica (Mike) Brown; was the proud grandfather of Alex and Libby; the dearest brother of Karen O’Orazio and Johnette Pickett; the dear uncle of numerous nieces and nephews; and was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Melissa (nee Erickson), of 43 years of marriage. His family will receive friends Saturday, Feb. 11, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Place, Libertyville (Rte. 176, 1 block east of Milwaukee Ave.). Pastor Robert Davis will conduct funeral services at 12:30. Luncheon will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations made to University of Wisconsin Foundation, US Bank Lock Box 78807, Milwaukee, WI 53278-0807 would be greatly appreciated.
