Elizabeth E. “Betty” Flynn (nee Richardson), of Hawthorn Woods, formerly of Champaign, IL, passed away April 29, 2017 in Barrington, IL. She was born in Indianapolis, IN and lived in Champaign, IL for more than 70 years where she was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church. Betty would winter in Ft. Myers, FL, loved to cruise, was an avid line dancer and a lucky bingo enthusiast.

She is survived by her daughter Judith (Richard) Stark; her son Stephen Flynn; her grandchildren Sabrina Stark, Ryan (Lindsey) Stark and Jennifer (Brandon) Fortier; her great-grandchildren Kahlan and Joshua Fortier and Aubrey and Connor Stark; her sister Demcy Cowdrey and her brother Franklin Richardson. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husbands Francis Flynn and Joseph McGarry.

Funeral Mass will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday May 4, 2017 at St. Mary of Vernon Catholic Church, 236 Highway 45, Indian Creek, IL where there will be a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. Interment will be at Mount Hope Mausoleum, Champaign, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the American Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
