Enrico Fontana, known as Harry to all who knew and loved him, passed away August 3, 2017 at Lovell Fed. Health Care Ctr. in North Chicago. Born to Adeodato and Julia Fontana and grew up with his brother Bruno (Stella) in Highland Park, Illinois. Harry's character was forged as a combat Marine in the frozen foxholes of Korea.

Harry and his late wife Ola, to whom he was married for over 49 years, raised 6 children together: Julie (Jerry), Ray (Sandy), Cindy, Patty (Jerry), John (Meg), and Joe (Cindy). Harry is Grandfather to 10: Jennifer, Kevin (Theresa), Jeff (Stephanie), Jason, Jake (Kelsey), Arron, Zach, Nick, Nico and Kody; and Great-Grandfather to Giada and Grady.

Visitation for Harry will be Monday August 7th from 3-7 pm at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Pl, (Rt 176, 1 Blk East of Milwaukee Ave) Libertyville. Funeral service with military honors will be held at 6:30 pm at the funeral chapel. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2900 N.
