Cletus F. Sesterhenn, 91, WWII Army veteran, of Lincolnshire, formerly of Libertyville, passed away Oct. 3, 2017. Mr. Sesterhenn was born in Evanston and had been a Libertyville resident for 43 years. Mr. Sesterhenn had retired from Illinois Bell following 35 years of service, was very involved in the Boy Scouts where he had served as Scoutmaster of Troop 60, and at one point was the Bocce ball champion of Sun City Huntley, IL.

Mr. Sesterhenn is survived by his wife Marie nee Schneider of 61 years of marriage, his children Susan (Bruce) Labno, Steve (Barbara) Sesterhenn and Don (Cindy) Sesterhenn, 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Peter (Nora) Sesterhenn and his 4 sisters.

Funeral Mass will be 10AM Sat. Oct. 14 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 121 East Maple Ave., Libertyville. Visitation will be from 4 -7PM Friday Oct 13 at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Pl (Rt 176, 1 Blk East of Milwaukee Ave) Libertyville and at church 30 minutes prior to Mass on Saturday.
