Obituary of Matthew L. Dunk

Matthew L. Dunk, 33, of Libertyville, passed away October 10, 2017 of natural causes. Matt was born in Madison, WI and had lived in Libertyville since 1986.  He graduated Libertyville High School and Southern Illinois Univ.. He was a major athlete in soccer, baseball and hockey in high school and will be remembered for his great sense of humor, his devotion to all Chicago sports teams and his astonishing abilities as a fisherman.

He is survived by his parents Ed and Betsy Dunk; his son Braylen and his mother Rachelle; his brother Mike (Stefanie) Dunk and his nephew Dayne Dunk; his grandmother Ann Dunk; and his step-brother Jed (Molly) Duke.

Visitation will be Wednesday October 18, 2017 from 4-8PM at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Place, (Rt 176, 1 Blk East of Milwaukee Ave) Libertyville. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the "Braylen Dunk Education Fund" c/o 101 Park Place, Libertyville, IL. 60048 would be greatly appreciated.
