Obituary of Robert J. Bacci

Robert J. Bacci, 90, of Vernon Hills, passed away Oct. 19, 2017. Mr. Bacci was born in Chicago and served as a non-commissioned officer with the US Army during WWII. Robert’s creative nature led him to designing and building boats and midget race cars as a hobby.

He is survived by his loving children Robert L. (Joan) Bacci, Kenneth M. (Jackie) Bacci, and Barbara A. (Allan) Makuh, Robert was the proud grandfather of Robert L. (Rebecca) Bacci , Christine (Jason) Drucker, Bradley Bacci, Melissa Bacci, Allyson Makuh and Allan John Makuh, the dearest great-grandfather of four and the dear brother of Maryanne Barton and Virginia Lodewyck. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Leona of 68 years of marriage.

Funeral services will be 11:00AM Tues. Oct. 24 at McMurrough Funeral Chapel 101 Park Place, Libertyville. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville.
