Obituary of Fred Allegretti
Fred Allegretti, US Army, of Mundelein, IL passed away at Advocate Condell Medical Center on Jan. 12, 2019.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years Elizabeth Anne; children Joseph J., Philip James and wife Kelly, Mary Kalesz and husband David; grandchildren McKenna and David; much loved sister Antoinette Vasquez and brother James S. and wife Carol; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Fred was born in Chicago, IL, graduated from grade school, Taft High School, and then served in the United States Army in the Middle East and Europe. Following military service he worked in the family restaurant business and eventually for the Allstate Insurance Co. in Northbrook. He retired after 35 years as an Associate Vice President.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10am Friday Jan 18th at St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, 22333 W. Erhart Rd in Mundelein. Visitation for Fred will be 3 -7 pm Thursday Jan 17th at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Pl, (Rt 176, 1 Blk East of Milwaukee Ave) Libertyville and Friday at church 30 minutes prior to Mass.
