Obituary of Andrew John Lemberger

Please share a memory of Andrew to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Andrew “Drew” John Lemberger, 22, formerly of Libertyville, passed away November 27, 2019. Drew’s deepest passion was for his family and friends. They were all blessed by his charisma, infectious smile and big heart.

Drew achieved his Life Scout rank and appreciated the opportunity to help others in various service projects. He was athletic and enjoyed participating in every sport you can think of including parkour, lacrosse, football, soccer, swimming, gymnastics, wrestling and others.

Drew was in the masonry and bricklaying trade which gave him the ability to be outside and work with his hands. His boss shared he had a great work ethic, was very responsible, and well-liked by customers and co-workers alike.

His spirituality and faith were important to him and brought him close to family members and friends alike. Drew’s struggle with depression and addiction were part of his life story. He hoped his openness and willingness to share these experiences would provide support and help to others.

Drew is survived by his parents Patty McCarthy and Stan Lemberger; his siblings Adam Lemberger, Anthony and Alexis Hagemann, Amber (Carlos) Delgado, Bryant Calero and Christian Kujawa; his bonus mothers Christine Dempski and Jennessa Fikejs; his special uncle Chad Fikejs; his five grandmothers Joan McCarthy, Jackie Lemberger, Kathie Harris, Kay West, Sue and his “Terbear” Terry King; and many loved aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
