Obituary of Paul Obenauf

Paul F. Obenauf of Libertyville Paul F. Obenauf passed away Friday June 7 at his home after an extended illness. Paul was a veteran of the US Air Force, had been employed by Goodyear and United Conveyor. He also attended Northwestern University and was a member of the Secular Franciscan Fraternity of Mary Town, the Saint Vincent De Paul Society, Silver Wings and the experimental Aircraft Association. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Roxane (nee Dayenian), his brother, James (Linda) Obenauf, his sisters, Lorraine Untz, Gertrude Deinlein, Hellen Supergan and Luella (nee Untz), his goddaughter Susan Obenauf Wilcox and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Regner and brothers, Robert (Bettye and the late Laverne) Obenauf and Ralph (the late Mary) Obenauf. Funeral services will be 10:30AM Tuesday, June 11 from McMurrough Funeral Chapel, Ltd., 101 Park Place (Route 176, one block east of Milwaukee Ave.), Libertyville to St. Joseph Church, 121 East Maple, Libertyville for Mass at 11 AM. Interment St. Mary Cemetery, Fremont Center. Visitation Monday June 10 from 5 - 8 PM at the funeral chapel. In lieu of flowers, Masses would be appreciated. For funeral information, 847-362-2626.
