Sharon A. Chausow of Vernon Hills Sharon A. Chausow, 58, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2013 in Lutheran General Hospital.
She was born in Minneapolis MN and had been a resident of Vernon Hills for the past 20 years. Sharon was self employed contractor, had attended the University of Illinois,was a board member of LCFSA and was an avid Chicago Bulls fan.
She is survived by her devoted husband Michael Phillips of 32 years of marriage, was the proud mother of Allison, the beloved daughter of Leonard and Miriam "Mickey" (nee Weisberg) Chausow, the dearest sister of Lynn Chase and Carol A. (Tim) Zens, and the dear aunt of many.
Her family will receive friends Thursday, June 27 from 5 - 8 PM with funeral services at 7:30 PM at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, Ltd., 101 Park Place (Route 176, one block east of Milwaukee Ave.), Libertyville. If desired, memorial donations made to LCFSA (Lake County Fastpitch Softball Association) would be greatly appreciated.
