Eugene Preston Nichols, 96, of Chicago, passed away July 22 on his birthday.
Mr. Nichols was the beloved husband of the late Ann, the loving father of Karen (Warren) Haug, the proud grandfather of Erin (Alex) Pataky, and twin brothers Michael (Carolyn) Haug and Kevin (Yuko) Haug and the dearest great-grandfather of Anna & Anders Pataky, Jonathan, Maximilian and Gabriel Haug.
Visitation will be Sat July 27 from 10-11:30AM with funeral services at 11:30AM at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Place Libertyville (Rt.176,1 Blk East of Milwaukee Ave) Interment Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville.
If desired, memorial donations made to the Mercy Home for Boys & Girls , 1140 W. Jackson Blvd, Chicago, IL. 60607-2906 would be greatly appreciated.
