James Blake, 83, US Navy, Retired, a former 20 year resident of Mundelein died August 3, 2013 in Libertyville. Mr. Blake was born in New York and had retired from the US Navy after 26 years of service. He was an avid reader, a proficient pool player, a skilled bridge player and an expert dancer. He is survived by his wife Marlene (nee Cullen) almost 59 years of marriage; his children James K. Blake, Randall T. Blake, Patrick M. (Kathy) Blake, Lorene C. Blake, Donna M. Blake, Brian F. Blake and Robert A. Blake; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM Thursday August 8 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Private interment will be at Maryhill Cemetery Cemetery, Niles. Visitation will be Wednesday August 7 from 6:30 - 8:30 PM at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Place, Libertyville (Rt 176, 1 Block East of Milwaukee Ave) If desired, memorial donations made to Disabled American Veterans, P.O.
