Obituary of Bob Wood

Robert “Bob” Wood 59, US Air Force, of Mundelein and Fox Lake, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2022. He retired as the manufacturing supervisor of Parade Packaging / Fortune Plastics. Bob was a lifelong Chicago sports fan rooting on his Blackhawks, Bears and Cubs. He had a true passion for food especially a good dipped Italian Beef from Portillo’s. Bob made friends everywhere, he went out of his way to make everyone smile with his famous dad jokes. He had a big heart and always was putting others before himself. Bob was a lover of animals, and was especially close to his dog Harley. Bob was famous for his epic movie collection and passed on his love of film to his children. He was gentle loving spirit and will be dearly missed.

Bob is survived by his children John Pagdilao, Jennifer (Paul) Reynolds, and Krista Wood; his dearest grandchildren Riley and Avery Reynolds, Lacy and Conner Wester & Malachi and Serenity Frantz; his siblings Larry (the late Lisa), Sherri Stewart, and Bill (Tammy). He is preceded in death by his wife Janine in 1992, his fiancé Marge, his parents Lawrence and Patricia and his brother Rick.
