Obituary of Gust C. Papas

Gust C. Papas, age 89, a resident of Knollwood, IL for more than 50 years, passed away July 27, 2022 surrounded by his family. He was born in Kapsia, Tripoli, Greece and made his way to the U.S. in 1951, he lived in Chicago before settling in Knollwood. He was the proud owner of Little Nick’s Grill and Gus’ Grille in Knollwood. He will be remembered for his generosity, eagerness to help and providing amazing opportunities for his family and friends. Beloved husband of over 50 years to Άikaterina; loving father of Christopher and Constantina; adored grandfather of Yanni, Constantine and Katerina; cherished brother Nick (the late Antonia) Papas and numerous siblings and family in Greece. May his memory be eternal. Visitation from 4-8 PM on Sunday, July 31, 2022 with a Trisagion at 5:30 PM at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Pl., Libertyville, IL 60048.
