Obituary of Gloria "Jean" Terryberry

Gloria “Jean” Terryberry, nee Pappa, of Lindenhurst, IL, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2022, at the age of 76. Born August 19, 1946, she is the daughter of Joseph and Mildred Pappa. She married James Terryberry in Chicago on July 20, 1968. They spent many years in Round Lake, IL and settled in Lindenhurst 28 years ago. Gloria was a parishioner of St. Raphael the Archangel Church, Old Mill Creek, IL. Jean enjoyed country music, hosting large gatherings with friends and family, and being with her dog Benji at her summer home in Green Lake, WI. Above all, Jean most enjoyed being surrounded by her family and spending quality time with her grandchildren.

Jean is survived by her loving son, Jeff (Wendy) Terryberry of Fox Lake; three grandchildren, Logan, Landon, and Leah; her siblings, Carol (Chet), Don (Tina), Michael (Peggy), Cathy (Joe), and Gary (the late Marlene); and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Mildred Pappa, her husband of 50 years James, her son Brian Terryberry, and brother Larry Pappa.

A Memorial Visitation for Jean will be held Saturday, November 19, 2022 from 9AM to 11AM at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Place, Libertyville, IL.
