Obituary of Robert H. Pecard

Robert H. Pecard, 92, passed away November 8, 2022. The son of Harvey B. and Frances Pecard née Behrendt), he was married 70 years to Katherine Pecard, née Kornacker, who preceded him in death in 2021. 

The loving father of Richard Pecard (Ann Marie Pecard née Laughlin) and Kathryn Pecard, and proud grandfather of Caroline, Claire and Christian Pecard, he is also survived by his sister-in-law Elizabeth Broustis, and many nieces and nephews. 

He was a proud Korean War Veteran. After retiring from the DuPage County Sheriff’s Department, Bob moved with Katherine to Naples, Florida, where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and volunteered with various community organizations. 

Memorial Service, November 19th, St. Michael Catholic Church,10:00 AM,1633 N. Cleveland, Chicago, IL 60614. Private interment at St. Joseph Cemetery, River Grove, IL.
