I am so sorry to hear the news of Frank's passing. I met Frank at Zebra Technologies Where we played softball together built a friendship which led to other leagues outside of work. He was an excellent ball player and a good friend. He will surely be missed.

I am so terribly sorry to hear of Frank’s passing! I just spoke with him several months ago! My husband and I were trying to get together with him after he got settled into his job. We met him a year ago in Elgin and enjoyed his company and his presence will be missed. Our deepest sympathies to your family.

I am sorry to hear the loss of your brother Frankie, our neighborhood was a great one, I remember Frankie would always have a smile on his face and would always come over and roast marshmallows with us , and playing with my brother Rob. He was such a sweet guy, you all are in my thoughts and prayers.

Frank "Fat" Bojniewicz was one of those people who made you feel cooler just because you got to hang out with him. I remember the hell week at Tim Kneller's farm. Eric Ole Gronwick , Jim Zima, & I were so excited because Frank was going to ride down south US! We like to throw around the phrase, "PUG stud", and Frank was the real f#%king deal!
I told myself that we'd get together sometime soon, and now he's gone. Let's learn from this brothers.Time is our most precious commodity. Make time for what matters...family and friendship!

My sincere thoughts and prayers to all of Frank’s family, loved ones and friends.
To me, Frank will always be remembered as the neighborhood legend. I grew up literally idolizing Frank, he wasn’t just an outstanding athlete, he was very intelligent, thoughtful, friendly, but most of all he made you feel like you belonged.
He never made you feel left out and would more often than not, invite you to everything and I mean everything! He was older than I, but nothing that minuscule would thwart Frank from including you in. He literally woke me up one Sunday morning, just to walk the neighborhood and we’d end up sitting by the neighborhood lake and literally just talked…I’ll never forget that.
As time slips passes us all, it’s human nature to live one’s life to its fullest, as the memories of our past cloud the present, the one thing I learned from Frank was to treat everyone like they belonged….I will truly miss Frank, Rest In Peace Brother.

So sorry to hear about my childhood friend Frankie being taken way too early. I have so many memories of growing up next door to Chuckie and Frankie. Baseball and football on Hickory Street. Softball and whiffle ball in the back alley. Playing Round Up with all the neighborhood kids. It seems like yesterday. It's been a long time since I've seen him, but the memories will last a lifetime.
RIP Frankie!
